Basingstoke Canal Society’s 60th Anniversary

A date for your diary – Saturday 18th April. The Club will have a stall to support the Basingstoke Canal Society’s 60th Celebration event with the naming of their new electric trip boat, Kitty II.  It’s promising to be a fun day out with a brass band before the naming ceremony, a couple of fairground rides, face painter, magician, a few food and craft stalls as well as the canal archive display, boat activity on the canal and the all-important environmental/wildlife stands.
