Bankside: Garden Warbler again at Tate Modern (R Braddock).

Banstead: 331 Chaffinches flew south-south-west over Nork between 09:45 and 12:15 (S Gale).

Beddington Farmlands: Whinchat, drake and female Pintail and 333 Chaffinches (BFBG).

Croydon: Wheatear in John Lewis car park along Purley Way (J Birkett).

Hascombe: Red-throated Pipit flew south over New Barn at 08:18 (sound recording here); also 2 Ring Ouzels (one flew north-west from roost and one flew west), 312 Meadow Pipits flew south and 1,237 Redwings, 2 Bramblings (Surrey first of autumn), 121 Siskins and 555 Chaffinches flew west between 07:15 and 10:40 (E Stubbs).

Leith Hill: Great Egret flew low south-west past tower at 12:38 (first for Leith Hill); also 1,280 Chaffinches (Surrey record migration count), 520 House Martins and Brambling (Surrey first of autumn) flew south-west and 11 Ring Ouzels (9 flew south; 2 around tower) between 07:00 and 13:00 (W Attridge).

Papercourt Water Meadows: Ring Ouzel and Whinchat in afternoon (J Hobden).

Sheepleas SWT: Hawfinch flew over in morning (C Lodge).

Thorncombe Street: 219 Song Thrushes sound recorded over Allden’s Hill between 19:30 (14th) and 06:00 (E Stubbs).
